Product Description

Travertine Titanium is a form of limestone, with an elegant blend and random veining in dark and light silver greys, including interwoven colour variations with pores, which are characteristic of this extremely popular and hard wearing stone.
Travertine is different to limestone and/or in that it is formed in hot springs rather than being a metamorphic rock. The word ‘travertine’ comes from the Italian ‘travertine’, which is a variation of the word ‘tiburtinus‘, meaning from Tibur’. Its name is also the origin of Tivoli, an area near Rome.
