Description

Product Description

Belvedere quartzite is a natural stone with an elegant black backdrop and a beautiful veined pattern in white and beige tones. In the first place, Belvedere quartzite displays a very fine grain forming lovely patterns that come with medium variation from block to block. This means that each slab is unique to you and your design. Secondly, the different finishes on offer ensure that this subtle yet striking material can be suited to any theme and decor. The polished finish displays very high-gloss that makes it great for areas in need of a wow factor. A leather or Satin finish accentuate the already striking patterns but with subtle appeal provided by the matt look. Thirdly, quartzite has become a very popular stone over the last five years due to its royal marble look in combination of the sturdiness and strength of granite which make the perfect blend for performance in areas with daily demands. It is therefore an ideal to use on hard wearing areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, fireplace surrounds, steps, stairs and halls.

Belvedere is classified as a quartzite in Europe and classified as granite in the USA and China resulting in different names for the material, across quarries and importers who may at times classify it as a marble or granite. Belvedere is avilable in book matched slabs that allow you to create exclusive designs.
