Black Slate Anticato finish is a natural stone with a fine grain and homogeneous background displaying sedimentary rocks made from volcanic ash and clay, including random veins and mineral hints in subtle white tones.
Anticato is a rough textured finish which is achieve by using brushes and grinding the fascia of each slab on a block.
Slate was used for taking notes in pubs and inns in England, where phrases such ‘blank slate’ or ‘ clean slate’ were originated.
This classic and volcanic natural stone is ideal for use in traditional and modern spaces, bringing the beauty of natural stone to any interior or exterior area including kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, utility rooms and terraces, balconies and patio floorings.
