Delicatus granite is a natural stone with creamy, darker brown and grey hues. It displays a neutral colour palette that matches almost any design style, making it a popular choice in interiors. In addition to exotic looks, Delicatus offers extreme resistance to stains, heat and scratches.
Delicatus Granite is quarried in the regions of Espirito Santo, Castelo in Brazil practically to every corner of the globe including the UK and Europe.
Delicatus is also called Cremo Delicatus Granite, classified as granite rock which due to its mineral make up and composition including igneous rocks formed by slow crystallization of Magma on the Earth’s crust. Delicatus granite is a similar stone to Bianco Antico Granite or Crema Delicatus granite although due to slight differences these are technically different colours of natural granite stone.
Granite is a magmatic rock which is made from quartz and feldspar amongst other minerals. In the first place, it occurs naturally below the earth’s surface. Secondly, the process takes place over hundreds of thousands of years, resulting in an extremely strong stone.
It is also important to note Cremo Delicatus Granite has been used over many civilizations in construction of buildings, monuments and paving. Most recently, it has become a material of choice for decoration. If a long history of its use over time was not enough, granite can be seen almost everywhere. In the same way, residential homes, commercial properties and restaurants use it too.
Natural Granite does not offer unique and exotic looks, durability and strength. Not only that, but it also brings investment value to any property in which it is applied. Moreover, and when it comes to performance, the stone is great. The lack of calcium in granite ensures the stone does not etch like marble when exposed to acid present in lemons, oranges, etc
Besides this, granite varies in shape, patterns and colours. As an example, slab sizes will usually cover areas of between 5.5-metre square and 6.5 metre square. In other words, is ideal for large areas such as kitchen islands as it can be installed seamlessly.
When it comes to thicknesses, 20mm and 30mm are the most popular which significantly allow for many options in terms of both design and style.
