Fiori Di Bosco marble comprises a grey limestone backdrop with an interwoven mosaic of fossil pieces and plentiful white-to-yellowish veins scattered throughout its surface, providing an unmistakable effect to any area in which it is seen.
Other names given to this beautiful Italian marble are Etruscan Grey, Etruscan Grigio, Fior di Pesco Grigio, Fior di Bosco Marble, Fiore di Bosco. The stone is available in polished with its high gloss effect and in a honed finish with a classic matt look.

Marble is formed from sedimentary rocks that have suffered a natural crystallization of the original minerals, resulting in interlocking stone rocks that vary in appearance according to the different minerals that compose it; which can be silica, sand, clay and iron oxides among others. These natural impurities allow for an endless variation of stone types which have made marble the most famous natural stone in the world.

Marble has been used since ancient times in the construction of monuments (Taj Mahal in India, Marble Arch in London, etc), statues (David by Michelangelo and paving amongst establishments of kings and emperors.
