Product Description

Botanic Green quartzite is a stone with a vivid green backdrop and an explosion of veining provided by naturally occurring minerals on its make up, varying from dark green, light green, golden and ochre tones. This is a natural stone that comes in large slabs averaging a coverage area of six square meters, ensuring large panels can be installed in focal areas without any seams or joints.

Botanic Green is most popular in 20mm thickness as it can be used for both worktop and splashback applications and also in 30mm slabs that provide an opulent surface when applied to any space. Quartzite has recently gained popularity due to its incredible strength and its ability to withstand acid from liquids and foods including lemon, oranges, etc without risks etching, most commonly associated to natural marble and limestone.

Botanic Green quartzite is quarried in the north of Brazil and cut into block which are in turn sliced into slabs in a vein-cut version and a cross cut option that displays the inner beauty of this unique natural stone. The quartzite is most popular in polished finish as it enables the material to be displayed in all its glory which special projects specifying a leather finish which tones down its accents and suits more traditional designs.

The most popular applications for this quartzite are in floorings, kitchen worktops and splashbacks, as well as in other areas such as bathrooms and halls for vanity tops and floorings.
