Product Description

Fantasy Brown quartzite is a brown base coloured stone that comprises exotic veining with great movement with tones ranging in cream and beige to light orange tones.

Originally quarried in the northern regions of India this stone is suitable for specifications in which architects and interior designers that require materials that will provide a unique and niche look.

Fantasy Brown quartzite’s characteristics are well received in interior spaces due to its metamorphic looks and similarities to natural marble. Whilst marble is made out of calcium and dolomite which makes it prone to etching and/or staining, quartzite comprises a substantially different mineral make up. Originally Sandstone, quartzite is form by being subjected to extreme heat a pressure on the earth’s crust which makes it far less susceptible to such occurrences yet slightly more than granite rocks..

Although the material has a medium to high resistance when exposed to the weather, the most popular applications are installed in interiors which may be due to the price factor of the stone or for up keeping its original looks without tear and wear by external conditions.

Fantasy Brown quartzite available in slab formats of 20mm and 30mm thickness and polished, leather and Satinato finish making it a versatile material in horizontal and vertical applications.  A durable stone with extreme resistance to accidental impact and suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage.
