Perla Venata quartzite’s characteristics are well received in interior spaces due to its metamorphic looks and similarities to natural marble.

Whilst marble is made out of calcium and dolomite which makes it prone to etching and/or staining, quartzite comprises a substantially different mineral make up. Originally Sandstone, Portobello quartzite is form by being subjected to extreme heat a pressure on the earth’s crust which makes it far less susceptible to such occurrences yet slightly more than granite rocks.
