Statuario marble slabs display medium to high pattern variation, and veins range in different greyish tones. Statuario slabs start dimensions at 2200x1200mm to 3000x1800mm. When it comes to finishes, the marble’s most popular are polished, which offers a reflective sheen and honed which brings Statuario in matt finish to accentuate its wide option veining.

Marble is formed from sedimentary rocks that have suffered a natural crystallization of the original minerals, resulting in interlocking stone rocks.

In Addition, these natural impurities allow for an endless variation of stone types, which is one of the reasons that have made marble the most famous natural stone in the world.

Marble has been used since ancient times in the construction of many monuments (Taj Mahal in India, Marble Arch in London, etc), statues (David by Michelangelo), paving and establishments of kings and emperors. More recently and with the advance of new technology and quarrying systems, marble has become affordable becoming a reality in residential homes, offices, shops, hotels, restaurants and other spaces in which it never fails to impress.

Another factor that strengthens the timeless popularity of marble is its luxurious appeal, resistance and elegant looks, durability and value it provides to any property in which it is applied.
