Volakas is a village on the eastern areas of the Falakron Mountains. As a matter of fact, it is located in the Drama region of North Greece, next to Bulgaria. Nowadays, the name Volakas has become a generic name for a whole range of white marble quarried from this location, also known as ‘ The Carrara of Greece’. The pure white backdrop with delicate light grey veining of Volakas has become a synonym of organic elegance.
