White Platinum quartz belongs to the Platinum Series of Silestone, launched in 2009 with an advertising campaign leaded by the Spanish Formula One racing driver and a double World Champion Fernando Alonso.
The Platinum Series is a metallic-looking range of five colours, created by curing the quartz compound at a higher temperature than that of standard Silestone quartz colours.
